MYOHSAA Update for IMMEDIATE ATTENTION
- Officials Calendar (Schedule)
Athletic Directors are required to enter all varsity contests and related information into the myOHSAA system. Officials should not enter any game related data. Once the ADs enter the contest information and the officials names, each official will receive an electronic game notification. The official must accept the electronic game notification through their myOHSAA account. Only block Unavailable times on your calendar. Do not block games that you have scheduled as you will not appear available for the ADs to schedule.
- Profile
Each official must complete the myOHSAA profile and keep it up to date. The on-line directory of officials will be as accurate as the records are maintained by each official. In order to accept a game assignment the officials date of birth and the last four digits of his/her SSN must be in the profile.
- Tournament Selection Criteria
No change has been made in the selection criteria for tournament officiating. Data will be obtained from Assigners, ADs, Officials Associations, the OHSAA staff and District Athletic Board Members and Coaches game by game ratings. Significant changes have been made as to how the data is collected and in how reminders are sent and how financial penalties are imposed.
- Periodic Updates
Every effort will be made to update officials as additional myOHSAA information becomes available.
- Local Meetings
Fall sport local meetings attendance entering will be cut off as of October 22. If you do not get your attendance entered you MUST get that information to you District Officials Secretary. Otherwise officials will be suspended. WINTER AND SPRING meeting dates should have been entered by now. If you are having problems please give Kim or Kerri a call regarding entering them.
